Agia Marina Beach is located on the northwest coast of Crete, about 9 km west of Chania, and is one of the island’s most popular summer destinations.
The beach features a mix of sandy areas and pebbles, with calm, clear waters, making it suitable for families with children as well as visitors who want a comfortable swimming experience. Its shoreline stretches approximately 2.2-2.5 km and is fully equipped. Nearby, there are plenty of tavernas, cafés, and restaurants. Opposite the beach lies the small island of Agioi Theodoroi, a natural refuge for the Cretan wild goat (kri‑kri). The beach offers a perfect combination of lively tourist facilities and natural beauty, with easy access from Chania.
