Agia Pelagia beach

Also known as the Chanak Port, the Bay of Agia Pelagia was named after the Turks, it includes a fairly large and organized beach.

Agiofarago beach

Agiofarago is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches of Crete, which is located 80 km south of Heraklion and surrounded by very high and imposing rocks, as well as a wonderful 20-minute walk from the parking spot.

Agioi Theodoroi Beach

Located just after the village of Stavromenon and shortly before Kokkinos Chani, Agioi Theodoroi Beach sits in its eponymous bay, near the Minoan Shipyard, at the eastern end of the large Vatheianos Kampi beach.

Alekos Garden beach is located 33 km east of Heraklion city, at Chersonisos village.

West of Heraklion center is located Amoudara Beach. It is a sandy beach that extends about 7 kilometers along the homonymous settlement.

Amnisos beach is located 7 kilometers east of Heraklion. It is essentially the continuation of the bay of Karteros and is a beautiful sandy beach with shallow waters.

West of Keratokambos village on the southern coast of Heraklion is located Skouros beach. It is a large beach covered with sand and pebbles, where high alumni offer shade to swimmers.

Swallow beach

Almost 15 km from Heraklion center and some meters before the Palaiokastro rock, a small beautiful beach is hiding that not many know about, Chelidoni.
