Agios Charalambos Beach is one of the quietest and less-advertised coastal enclaves of southern Crete, in the wider area of Sfakia.

Geographically, it is located between Ammoudi Beach and Filaki Beach, situated west of the Chora Sfakion settlement and below the hill where the small church of the same name stands.

The landscape is characterized by the classic, rugged beauty of the Libyan Sea, with the shore featuring pristine, crystal-clear, and deep waters. The beach consists mainly of pebbles and is surrounded by rocky slopes that provide a sense of privacy and protection from the winds. Due to its proximity to Filaki, the beach is often frequented by those seeking tranquility and contact with nature, maintaining a relaxed and discreet atmosphere.

Access is relatively easy via the road connecting Chora Sfakion with the surrounding shores, with short paths leading from the road level down to the sea. Regarding organization, Agios Charalambos remains completely unorganized, with no permanent infrastructure, making it ideal for those who wish to enjoy their swim away from the crowds. It administratively belongs to the Chania Prefecture (Municipality of Sfakia) and is an excellent choice for a peaceful escape into the authentic Sfakian landscape.
