Chartalami Kolymbou beach is one of the more rugged and secluded coastal destinations in the wider Istron area, located south of Agios Nikolaos.
Geographically, it is situated on a distinctive peninsula extending to the east of the Istro Municipal Beach, offering a wild and natural landscape away from the main residential fabric.
The landscape is defined by the unique morphology of the coastline, which forms small, enclosed coves surrounded by rocky formations. The beach's position on the eastern side of the peninsula provides partial protection from the winds, while the surrounding area remains largely unaffected by heavy construction, maintaining its authentic character. To the west of the peninsula, there are points of interest for water activities, such as areas suitable for snorkeling and underwater exploration.
Access to Beach Chartalami Kolymbou is via a secondary road network that starts from the main axis of Istron and leads toward the peninsula. Due to its location, the beach offers a quieter alternative to the more crowded shores in the area, such as Voulisma or Pylos beach (Istron Bay), which are located nearby.
