Chomatistra Beach is one of the most remote and pristine coastal destinations on the northern shores of the Lasithi prefecture.

Geographically, it is located at the easternmost edge of the wider Vlichadia area, situated on a distinct land outcrop that extends into the Cretan Sea.

The landscape is defined by the wild natural beauty of the coastline, which at this point forms a small cove surrounded by rocky formations. The area is characterized by the total absence of residential buildings or tourist infrastructure, maintaining a completely raw character. To the west of Chomatistra lies Xepapadeas beach, which is the nearest reference point on the coastline.

Due to its isolated position, the beach offers an environment of complete silence and seclusion. Access to the spot is limited, as the road network ends well before the beach, making it an ideal choice only for those seeking to explore pristine landscapes and connect with the wild Cretan nature.
