Drapanias Beach is the natural eastern continuation of the Gulf of Kissamos coastline, offering a quiet and traditional setting for visitors.
Geographically, it is located on the northern coast of the Chania Prefecture, a short distance from the village of the same name and east of Korfalonas beach.
The landscape is characterized by a very long sandy shore combined with pebbles in some areas, while the waters are crystal clear and deepen gradually. Due to its great length, the beach never feels crowded, maintaining an atmosphere of peace and simplicity that is ideal for families and those wishing to avoid mass tourism.
Access is very easy, as the Northern Road Axis of Crete (E90) passes south of the beach, and there are paved roads leading directly to the shore. Regarding organization, Drapanias beach features several facilities, such as umbrellas and sunbeds, mainly in front of the seaside cafes and taverns known for their good food. The area also hosts organized campsites and various tourist accommodations, offering a complete holiday experience close to nature.
