Gefyri Beach is a coastal destination on the northern shores of the Heraklion prefecture, in the Hersonissos area.

Geographically, it is located on the coastal front of the Hersonissos bay, forming the southern continuation of Sarantari Beach.

The landscape is defined by the natural formation of the coastline, which includes a sandy expanse washed by the Cretan Sea. The beach is situated in an area with a gentle terrain, offering an open horizon to the sea, while the marine formation Andrea's Rock is located at a short distance from the shore.

Access to the beach is very easy via Agios Georgios Street, which traverses the coastal front and connects the area to the main settlement of Hersonissos. The local road network leads directly above the shore, making it accessible to visitors.

Due to its prime location near one of Crete's most popular tourist destinations, the wider area is highly developed. Numerous tourist rentals, hotel units, and dining venues overlooking the bay operate along the coastline and surrounding streets. The beach combines natural beauty with proximity to the area's urban and tourist amenities.
