Katevati beach is one of the most secluded and pristine coastal destinations in the eastern part of the Rethymno prefecture.

Geographically, it is located on the northern coast of Crete, situated east of Panormos and in close proximity to Apotomos beach.

The landscape is characterized by wild natural beauty and a sense of absolute tranquility, as the shore is located far from urban areas and busy tourist spots. A unique feature of the location is its proximity to the Islet of Katevati (Nisida Katevati), which lies directly opposite the beach, enriching the marine scenery.

Access to Katevati is via a local road that traverses the natural terrain of the area. Although the beach is relatively close to the main Northern Road Axis of Crete (E90), it maintains its secluded character due to the land formation.

Due to its location, the beach has no tourist organization, umbrellas, or sunbeds, offering an authentic experience to visitors seeking peace and contact with nature. It is an ideal spot for those wishing to enjoy their swim in the clear waters of the Cretan Sea in a completely undisturbed environment.
