Limeniskos Beach is a small, hidden gem of western Crete, offering a landscape of unique aesthetic and natural beauty.
Geographically, it is located on the western coast of the Chania Prefecture, in the wider Falasarna area, situated south of the main beach and very close to the small eponymous harbor of the region.
As suggested by its map description "Tiny beach, pink sand," the beach is famous for its light-colored sand that often takes on pink hues from crushed shells, reminiscent of a miniature version of famous beaches like Elafonisi. It is a very small and sheltered shore, surrounded by rocks, offering crystal-clear, shallow waters. Due to its size and location, it provides a quieter alternative to the large beaches of Falasarna, maintaining a particularly private and serene character.
Access to the spot is relatively easy via the road network leading towards Limeniskos, while the islet of Praso is visible at a close distance from the shore.
