Malavras Beach is one of the most secluded and hard-to-reach coastal destinations in the Kavousi area, on the eastern shores of Crete.

Geographically, it is located on a rugged stretch of coastline, north of the main road connecting Agios Nikolaos to Sitia.

The landscape is characterized by the wild beauty of the Cretan terrain, with the shore forming at the base of imposing slopes. The area maintains a completely pristine and natural character, lacking any organization or tourist infrastructure, making it ideal for those seeking absolute tranquility. In the broader area above the beach, the terrain offers spots with panoramic views of Mirabello Bay.

Access to Malavras is particularly demanding, as it is served by secondary dirt roads and footpaths starting from the Platanos area of Kavousi. Due to its remote location, the beach offers a unique experience of isolation, combining crystal-clear waters with the rugged beauty of the surrounding mountains.
