At south-east Crete, almost 2 kilometres eastern of Ierapetra city, you can find an isolated sandy beach which is mostly surrounded by big rocks. Ιts name is Peristeras beach.

The beach is located at the east side of Agios Andreas coast, which is among others one of the places with the most strong winds in Crete.

Access

The access to Peristeras beach is through the road that connects Ierapetra and Siteia and at your arrival you can see that the road is a few metres away from the beach.
