Peristeriona Beach is one of the most secluded and tranquil destinations on the southern coast of the Heraklion region, located in the Municipality of Viannos, between Keratokampos and Arvi.

It is a small, pristine cove surrounded by imposing cliffs and wild Cretan vegetation, offering a setting of absolute silence far from busy tourist spots. The shore is mainly covered with fine pebbles and sand, while the waters of the Libyan Sea here are crystal-clear and deep, ideal for a refreshing swimming experience.

Regarding travel information, Peristeriona is a completely unorganized beach, lacking any infrastructure, which makes it a favorite destination for those seeking seclusion and contact with untouched nature. Access is via the coastal road connecting Keratokampos to Arvi, with short paths leading from the road to the shore. A special feature of the beach is the tranquility it offers, as well as its rich seabed, which is perfect for snorkeling. Visitors should come fully prepared with water, food, and necessary shade supplies, while the proximity to neighboring settlements allows for easy restocking before arriving at the bay.
