Pylos Beach, also known as Istron Bay, is one of the most enclosed and protected coves in the Istron area, located south of Agios Nikolaos.

Geographically, it is situated in a deep bay washed by the waters of Mirabello, offering a serene marine environment due to its natural shielding from the winds.

The landscape is defined by the typical Cretan coastline, where the sea meets the local hills. The beach is organized and features facilities for water activities, with a water sports center operating on the shore, allowing visitors to combine swimming with leisure. The cove's morphology, with rocky formations at its ends, also makes it an interesting destination for snorkeling and underwater exploration.

Access to Pylos beach is direct via the road network connecting to the main European Route 75. The area around the cove is touristically developed, with various complexes and infrastructures extending along the slopes above the shore, providing panoramic views of the Istron seafront.
