Segrezo Beach is a quiet and picturesque cove on the southern coastline of the Heraklion region.
Geographically, it is situated between Kaloi Limenes and Lentas, located directly west of the Chrysostomos settlement.
The shore is characterized by the crystal-clear, deep waters of the Libyan Sea and a mix of sand and pebbles. One of the most distinct features of the area is the islet of Trafos, situated right across from the beach, providing a unique landscape and excellent opportunities for snorkeling.
Access to Segrezo is very easy, as the beach is located next to the regional road connecting Platia Peramata and Chrysostomos. Due to this proximity, visitors can reach the shore quickly by car, while the beach typically remains less crowded than the central beaches of nearby settlements.
Regarding organization, Segrezo is an unorganized beach, preserving its authentic and peaceful atmosphere. However, because it is just a stone's throw from Chrysostomos, bathers have immediate access to facilities such as rental rooms and local tavernas. It is an excellent choice for those seeking the tranquility and clarity of the southern coast without venturing too far from basic amenities.
