Sentoni Beach is one of the most isolated and inaccessible coastal destinations in southern Crete.
Geographically, it is located west of Sfakia, situated between Domata beach and Tripiti beach.
The landscape is characterized by the wild and imposing beauty of the Cretan south, with the shore washed by the deep, crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea. The beach is surrounded by steep cliffs and high slopes, which enhance the sense of complete isolation from the rest of the world. The atmosphere at Sentoni is perfectly serene, offering a sanctuary of peace for those seeking contact with raw nature, far from any trace of mass tourism.
Access to the beach is extremely difficult and is mainly possible by sea via boat. For hiking enthusiasts, reaching it requires traversing rugged paths connecting Agia Roumeli with Sougia, a route recommended only for experienced hikers. Regarding organization, Sentoni is a completely unorganized beach, with absolutely no infrastructure, preserving its virgin character intact. It administratively belongs to the Chania Prefecture and is a destination for the few who wish to discover the most hidden corners of the Sfakian coastline.
