Skorpios Beach is one of the lesser-known and quieter coastal destinations in the eastern part of the Rethymno prefecture.

Geographically, it is located on the northern coast of Crete, situated east of Panormos and in immediate proximity to Propatoumenos beach.

The landscape is characterized by the wild beauty of northern Crete, with the shore facing the Cretan Sea. A distinctive geographical feature of the area is the view of the islet Prasonisi, which is located a short distance offshore, directly across from the beach.

Access to the area is possible via a local road network connected to the main Northern Road Axis of Crete (Rethymno-Heraklion National Road / E90), which passes south of the beach.

Due to its secluded character, Skorpio beach lacks tourist organization, offering a serene environment for those seeking tranquility away from crowded beaches. It is an ideal choice for swimming in a pristine natural setting, where visitors can enjoy the sea and the region's unique terrain.
