Tavronitis Beach is one of the quietest and most spacious sections of the vast coastline extending west of Chania.

Geographically, it is located on the northern coast of the prefecture, situated between Kamisiana beach and the mouth of the Tavronitis river.

The landscape is characterized by an extensive sandy and pebbly shoreline, surrounded by lush vegetation and tamarisk trees that provide natural shade in several spots. The waters are crystal clear and deepen relatively quickly, while the beach is exposed to the northern winds of the area. The atmosphere in Tavronitis remains mild and far from mass tourism, offering a sense of serenity and freedom.

Access is very simple via the road network connecting Chania and Kissamos, while the Northern Road Axis of Crete passes a short distance from the settlement. Regarding organization, the beach features facilities with umbrellas and sunbeds in certain sections; however, the largest part remains free for visitors seeking peace and quiet by the sea.
