Tholos Beach is the main coastal front of Kavousi in eastern Crete, located north of Ierapetra.

Geographically, it is situated at the head of a protected bay washed by the waters of Mirabello, offering a serene environment with panoramic views of the sea.

The landscape is characterized by the combination of the clear shore and the steep natural terrain surrounding it. At the northern end of the beach, the coastline leads toward the more secluded Legamenis Beach, while to the west, a rocky peninsula with the distinctive Katergo point dominates the view. The area features tourist infrastructure and holiday units developed amphitheatrically on the nearby hills, providing direct access to the sea.

Access to Tholos is easy via the road network that starts from the village of Kavousi and ends at the shore. Due to its location and natural formation, the beach is an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful seaside spot while maintaining proximity to important historical sites in the area, such as the ancient church of Agios Antonios located nearby to the south.
