Trochalou Beach is one of the most peaceful and pristine destinations in southern Crete, known for the sense of absolute serenity it offers visitors.

Geographically, it is located on the shores of the Libyan Sea, west of Paleochora, between Karavopetra and Psilos Volakas beaches.

The landscape is characterized by a small, sheltered cove with pristine, crystal-clear waters and a shore consisting mainly of pebbles. The atmosphere at Trochalou remains exceptionally calm and authentic, maintaining a character that makes it ideal for those seeking isolation and quiet in a typical Cretan seaside setting, far from the busy tourist spots of the area.

Access is very easy by road, as the beach is located right next to the coastal road leading from Paleochora towards Kountoura. Regarding organization, Trochalou is a completely unorganized beach, without umbrellas or sunbeds, preserving its natural character intact. It administratively belongs to the Chania Prefecture and is an excellent choice for those seeking simplicity and direct contact with nature.
