The St. Nikolaos and Georgiou Church in Plati is a traditional Greek Orthodox church dedicated to two beloved saints of the Christian faith: Saint Nicholas and Saint George.
At the northwest side of Potamies Pediados is located the monastery of Panayia Gouverniotissa. Dates back to 14th century and until 20th was a monastery.
