Ammos Beach is one of the most central and easily accessible beaches in Agios Nikolaos, located on the southern side of the city's harbor.
Geographically, it extends along the coastline starting next to the commercial port and the marina facilities, offering views of Mirabello Bay.
The landscape is defined by its full integration into the urban fabric, making it particularly popular for a quick swim without the need to travel outside the city. The beach is surrounded by numerous infrastructures, such as rental apartments, commercial shops, and dining areas, and is located very close to main city roads, such as Konstantinou Karamanli Street.
South of Ammos beach, the coastline continues toward Gargadoros and Ariadne Beach, while to the north, the Kitroplatia area and the "Horn of Amalthea" sculpture dominate the view. Its location makes it an ideal starting point for strolls along the seafront, combining swimming with proximity to the market and the landmarks of Agios Nikolaos.
