Fournoti Beach is one of the most hidden and pristine coastal destinations in southern Crete, in the Sfakia region
Geographically, it is located west of the Agia Roumeli settlement, situated between Kalogeros and Domata beaches.
The landscape is characterized by the wild natural beauty offered by the combination of the steep cliffs of the White Mountains and the deep blue waters of the Libyan Sea. The shore features pristine, crystal-clear waters and fine pebbles, while the environment remains completely untouched by human activity. The atmosphere at Fournoti is perfectly serene, offering a sanctuary of total seclusion for those wishing to be away from any trace of civilization.
Access to the beach is particularly difficult, as it is possible almost exclusively by sea via private boat, while reaching it by land requires hours of demanding hiking through rugged paths. Regarding organization, Fournoti is a completely unorganized beach, with absolutely no infrastructure or shade. It administratively belongs to the Chania Prefecture and is the ideal choice for adventure seekers and lovers of absolute freedom in nature.
