Kera beach is one of the quietest and most pristine coastal destinations in the Apokoronas region.

Geographically, it is located east of Kalyves and west of Almyrida, situated at the head of Souda Bay.

The landscape is characterized by a narrow strip of sand and pebbles, flanked by imposing white cliffs and lush vegetation that almost reaches the shore. The waters are shallow, crystal clear, and usually very calm, as the beach is protected from winds due to its position. At the western end of the coast, the hill featuring the ruins of the Castel d' Apicorno fortress dominates the view, adding a historical dimension to the area's natural beauty.

Access is easy via the Kalives-Kefalas provincial road, which passes directly above the shore. The church of Agios Andreas, a significant local religious landmark, is also located nearby.

In terms of organization, Kera maintains a completely unpretentious character. It lacks umbrellas, sunbeds, or permanent tourist facilities, making it an ideal choice for those seeking peace, isolation, and an authentic connection with nature away from busy organized beaches.
