Skourgeto is located at the southest part of the Spinalonga peninsula, right across the Kalydon island and 15 km south of Agios Nikolaos.

It is a beautiful exotic sandy beach with light blue crystal waters, an idyllic ocean floor and a majestic view of the Kalydon island or else Spinalonga island. It is said that its name comes from the word “skourges”, which in the local dialect is referring to the sharp rocks that are shaped at the beach's coastline because of the erosion of the seawater.

Access to the Skourgeto is possible through a boat but also through a long hiking path that lasts almost two hours.
