Keratidi Beach is one of the quietest and lesser-known coastal enclaves of southern Crete, located between Rodakino and Frangokastello.

Geographically, it is situated west of the Rodakino settlement and Korakas beach, serving as a hidden sanctuary for those seeking absolute isolation at the edge of the Rethymno region, near the borders of Sfakia.

The landscape is characterized by the raw, untamed beauty of the Libyan Sea, with the shore surrounded by low rocky formations and rich natural terrain. The waters are exceptionally clear, deep, and possess the characteristic dark blue hue of the area, offering a unique swimming experience in an environment that feels untouched by time. The beach features pebbles and sand, and the prevailing peace makes it ideal for a complete disconnection from everyday life.

Access is via the regional road that traverses the southern coastline, following dirt tracks that descend toward the sea. Regarding organization, Keratidi is a completely unorganized beach, without any human intervention or infrastructure. The lack of shade and amenities makes full preparation essential for visitors, offering in return an authentic experience of privacy and tranquility before the endless blue.
