Kolympakia Beach is one of the main coastal destinations in the settlement of Mochlos, on the northern shores of Lasithi.
Geographically, it extends along the village's waterfront, providing direct access to the waters of the Cretan Sea.
The landscape is characterized by the picturesqueness of the settlement surrounding the shore, with holiday homes and tourist complexes built just a short distance from the water. To the east of the beach, the coastline continues toward the Baths beach (Λουτρών) area, where the significant archaeological remains of the Byzantine Baths are located, adding historical interest to a walk along the front.
Access to Kolympakia is very simple, as the beach is served by the Mochlos regional road that runs through the settlement. Due to its location within the village, the beach is the primary choice for visitors staying in the area, combining swimming with the convenience of being close to the amenities of Mochlos.
