Krassas Beach (also known as Porgonero) is one of the most secluded and distinctive destinations on the southern coast of the Heraklion region, located in the Municipality of Viannos, between Tsoutsouros and Dermatos Beach.

It is a pristine coastline surrounded by an impressive landscape of clay hills and low vegetation, offering a sense of rugged beauty and absolute tranquility. Regarding travel information, Krassas is a completely unorganized beach, lacking infrastructure such as umbrellas, sunbeds, or dining facilities, making it ideal for travelers seeking seclusion and contact with raw nature. Access is via the coastal road connecting Tsoutsouros to Kastri, with the beach situated directly below the road. Due to the lack of natural shade, it is essential for visitors to bring their own shade equipment, as well as sufficient supplies of water and food. The area is perfect for relaxation and snorkeling, while its proximity to the settlement of Tsoutsouros allows for easy restocking or a visit to traditional tavernas after a day at the beach.
