Panormos Beach is the seaport of the eponymous picturesque village and one of the most popular coastal destinations in the eastern part of the Rethymno prefecture.

Geographically, it is located in a sheltered bay on the northern coast of Crete, approximately 22 kilometers east of Rethymno city.

The landscape consists of two main coves with crystal-clear waters. The main beach, also known as Limni, is sandy and features an artificial stone pier that protects it from northern winds, making it ideal for families with children. The area is surrounded by rocky formations and offers a wonderful view of the Cretan Sea and the settlement's harbor.

Access to Panormos is extremely easy, as the settlement is located just a short distance from the main Northern Road Axis of Crete (E90). The village has a good road network leading directly to the beachfront, and its proximity to the national highway allows for quick travel to and from Rethymno or Heraklion.

In terms of organization and infrastructure, Panormos is a fully developed destination that still maintains its traditional character. Numerous taverns, restaurants, and cafes operate along the coast and within the village, alongside large hotel units and rental apartments. The beaches are organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay by the sea.
