Sfakos Beach is one of the most isolated and wild coastal treasures of the Rodopou Peninsula, offering an experience of absolute tranquility within the rugged Cretan landscape.

Geographically, it is located on the eastern side of the peninsula, in the Chania Prefecture, situated south of the ancient Diktynna area and Menies beach.

The landscape is characterized by the untouched beauty of the steep cliffs surrounding the small cove. The shore features crystal-clear, deep waters and consists mainly of pebbles and stones, making it an ideal destination for those seeking isolation away from any kind of tourist organization. The atmosphere at Sfakos is unique, as the area remains pristine, with the only "residents" being the wild goats of the peninsula and the low Mediterranean vegetation.

Access by road is extremely difficult and requires a suitable vehicle (4x4), as the dirt road crossing the Rodopou peninsula is long and rough in many places. For this reason, the majority of visitors reach the beach by sea, with a boat departing from Kissamos or Kolymbari. Nearby to the south lies the picturesque chapel of Agios Antonios, which completes the imposing and solitary scenery of this steep coastline.
