The Theofania Church is located in the picturesque village of Selinari in the inland of the Heraklion region, and serves as a small yet meaningful place of worship for the local community.
At the northwest side of Potamies Pediados is located the monastery of Panayia Gouverniotissa. Dates back to 14th century and until 20th was a monastery.
