Agios Panteleimon Beach is one of the main coastal destinations in Kalo Chorio, Lasithi, located on the eastern shores of Crete, south of the city of Agios Nikolaos.
Geographically, it extends along an open bay washed by the waters of Mirabello Bay, offering panoramic views of the sea.
The natural landscape is characterized by the presence of the Kalos Potamos river, which crosses the plain and flows into the western part of the coast, adding a unique hydrological element to the scenery. At the western end of the beach, a seaside hill hosts the Priniatikos Pyrgos archaeological site, while the eastern end is dominated by the church of Agios Panteleimon, from which the area takes its name.
Access to the beach is very simple and direct, as it adjoins the main road network connecting Agios Nikolaos with Sitia. In the broader coastal zone, there are public leisure infrastructures, such as the local football field, as well as various tourist complexes developed along the seafront.
