Lille Aris Beach is one of the most "secret" and secluded coves in Eastern Crete.
Located south of Pylos beach and north of Mavromouri, it sits along the rugged coastline of the Sitia region.
This is a very small, untouched beach, wedged between the wild rocks of the area. Its name is quite unique and does not have traditional Cretan roots, making it even more enigmatic for travelers. The landscape is typical of the Itanos and Palekastro area: arid, raw, with crystal-clear deep waters and a rocky seabed teeming with life, making it perfect for free diving or snorkeling enthusiasts.
Access to Lille Aris is challenging, requiring a hike through coastal paths or approach by boat. There is absolutely no organization or facilities, offering the ultimate sense of a "private paradise." It is a place where you can enjoy absolute silence, the sound of the wind, and the waves, far from any trace of civilization.
It is the perfect choice for true explorers of Crete who want to add a location to their map that very few people even know exists.
