Limnaki Beach is one of the lesser-known but highly picturesque spots on the coastal zone west of Ierapetra, located in the Stomio area.

It is a small natural bay that, as its name suggests ("Little Lake"), resembles a small lagoon due to the protection offered by the surrounding rock formations.

The shore features a mix of sand and fine pebbles, with crystal-clear, shallow, and usually very calm waters, making it ideal for those seeking a quieter alternative to the region's larger organized beaches. Its seabed is rich and varied, making it a favorite spot for snorkeling and underwater exploration enthusiasts.

The beach is unorganized, maintaining an authentic and pristine character. You won't find umbrellas or sunbeds, so visitors should bring their own essentials. Access is very easy via the main coastal road from Ierapetra to Gra Lygia, with short paths leading directly to the shore. It is a destination preferred mainly by locals and those wishing to enjoy the sea in a serene environment, away from tourist crowds, while still being close to the amenities and tavernas of the Stomio settlement.
